Another great stay at the Parador! Ed, Dee, and , of course the kidz, made our time in Pittsburgh a fantastic getaway. Dee even went out of her way to wish Donna a Happy Mother's Day. The inn is in a great location for us to walk to the rivers, PNC Park to watch the Giants when they are in town, and a variety of sightseeing venues. Ed and Dee make it feel like you never left home with great rooms, great breakfasts and any information you need to get around. Looking forward to next year already.

I've been meaning to write a review for almost a year, but haven't had the chance until now. My friend booked a room here as a surprise for me for my birthday last year, and we will be back again this year. Everything at the inn is absolutely beautiful, and Ed, RJ and Rayzette made us feel right at home. We even made a friend with whom I've kept in touch, met at the breakfast table on second day there. The atmosphere was at once classy, warm, calming, and romantic, and Ed took time out of his busy day to give us a tour of the inn, which we especially enjoyed. He provided discounts to various places around town, and mentioned that we might be able to get a tour of an old church up the road that we'd mentioned being interested in. We did, and ended up having quite a nice spiritual experience while we were there. The meals that Ed served were obviously planned and prepared by a man who loves what he does and values his guests, and we were even treated to being able to sip brandy by the fireplace later in the evening. Thanks to Ed and his "family" showing such care and pride in the running of this inn, 2017 was the best birthday I've had since the original, when I first arrived on Earth...a long time ago. 😊

Very enjoyable, pleasant stay. Easy 18 minute walk to PNC Park and Heinz Field. If you want the neighborhood experience I highly recommend contacting Ed the Innkeeper. P.S. with restrictions the Parador Inn is dog friendly with rooms separate from main house.
