Popular bar, bowling, and bar food place. Enjoyed the cheese stuffed burgers and fish tacos! Old school neighborhood bar as far as looks go. Service was great. Expect to wait during normal eating hours because the place is popular.

There's a heated debate on who served the first Juicy Lucy as well as who serves the best one. The jury is still out - or is it? The Nook is everything you'd want in a local corner/dive bar. Good beer, delicious food, and a bowling alley in the basement. The food is good - simple, yet exactly what you want. The burgers are big and filling. The fries are on point - as are the onion rings. It's a laid back, casual atmosphere. The music isn't too loud, the service is fast, the servers are friendly, and it's a great place to take your out-of-town friends to - as seen in this photo.

Good food here! Upstairs is very small and crowded... downstairs there's a bowling alley and more seating. We enjoyed our burgers. A friend had the walleye & it looked delicious. My beer could have been colder. They have a decent happy hour, too. Same owners also run Shamrocks down the road about a mile. Same kind of menu, just a bigger space.

The Nook is always great. They have consistently great food. My favorite is the Nookie Supreme (even though I always end up taking some home because it's a big burger), their fries are also awesome. This place is busy most of the time so you might have to wait but the food is worth it! The service is always good and the staff is attentive and helpful. The food always comes out quickly once you order. I will definitely come back!

This is, by far, my favorite place to go whenever I am in St. Paul! I have always had to wait half an hour to an hour on weekend afternoons and evenings, but it is most definitely worth the wait! Hands down, the best stuffed burgers in the Cities. The staff is always friendly and the service is great! They have a great beer selection which they keep updated. It's cozy, so it's not the greatest place for big groups. In the end, I can't stress enough how great the food is and how the wait is worth it.
