  Very nice boutique hotel with unique flavor of New England. Convenient to every place. Warm reception.

  They don't have bottled water for their guests . We arrived late because our flight was cancelled so we're tired and thirsty. No bottled water ..only a jug of water with slices of lemon which we didn't really care for.. their breakfast was horrible. Eggs were undercooked and the potato cubes were cold and dry. The english muffins tasted funny and the bowl of fruits were not fresh. We barely ate because we were afraid to have salmonella. Very disappointing.

  A very pretty Inn, perfect location, great parking, wonderful breakfasts. However... I never truly felt welcome. Staff in general was just not very friendly.

  Very nice, clean, comfortable room. Great restaurants in walking distance. Can walk from train station. Inn has afternoon tea and 2 choices of breakfast included in room price.

  I upgraded from a basic room to a deluxe suite with jacuzzi tub for a romantic getaway with my partner. Upon our very late night arrival, we were told that our room was unavailable due to broken A/C and they would place us in another room--with no tub--"for no additional charge." They never reached out to tell me about the issue before my check-in, and at this time of night, there was no way to find accommodations elsewhere. They essentially forced me to accept what I didn't pay for. I paid more money with the promise of deluxe suite for my partner and I and we were screwed out of that promise and screwed out of the money it cost to upgrade. They ignored my attempts to contact them afterwards about this issue. Horrible service, infuriating experience.
