  DESIGNED TO DRAW THE EYE TO VARIOUS POINTS: the building is interesting in how is stands and in it's presentation against the skyline in Houston. It has a broad view across the city and a looms among the clouds when they are hanging low. It is often said that everything is bigger in Texas, well this is one of those big yet not too daunting and statuesque buildings that calls out to you as you walk, drive or ride by. The interior has a collection of different paintings from different artists and the floors are well kept. Why was I there, I attended an event hosted by the IAW - International Association of Women - this is an a professional development, mentoring, and networking organization for professional and entrepreneurial women. It provides opportunities for women in various stages of their careers or business development to meet and bond over common goals - growth, development, support, success, and community. How is this accomplished - by hosting events like these, through eCoaching events, connecting them to potential mentors, and so much more. This location was an opportunity for the Houstonians to come out and meet other professionals in their fields or network with other entrepreneurs to build community relationships that support the growth of their small businesses and therefore the economic growth of their larger communities. I attended this event to take advantage of the opportunity to look at the greater midsouth area beyond my current purview so as to capture and share their story and to network with other like minded people while sharing any insight on how to connect with or bring visibility to their businesses or projects. This venue allowed for a perfect setting in that the group of women attending was a diverse range of women from multiple walks of life with missions and visions for success. The staff was steadfast in ensuring that all needs were met. They were friendly and courteous and quite representative of our great Nation. The food was a nice choice of healthy servings that would satisfy your lunch needs. The speakers did a nice job of engaging the audience and providing connectivity between the information shared. This venue was the perfect setup for this event and the event made for a worthwhile trip.

  I have been to many meetings and events here and this is an upscale, charming and delightful place for events.

  Attended our company Christmas party at the Houston Club. The atmosphere was very nice and the club had a stunning evening view of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful and food was delicious, however dinner service was a bit hectic. Overall a good experience.

  Nice view in the evening, perfect venue for events! Staff is very helpful and friendly and parking is easy.
