  Nice store, helpful employees, good brands, plenty of parking. Convenient location by PC Richards, Kohls, Super Stop and Shop, BJ's and Tangers Mall.

  Today, a Saturday, this Deer Park HD was well staffed, two employees helped me and were polite and knew exactly where to locate the items I was looking for. Carts were plentiful and there was an abundant selection of perennials.

  THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.......ordered a skid of top soil and set delivery for 4-6 ( of which i paid an additional charge ) on saturday evening. so i waited and waited and by 630 saturday i called the store. a woman got on the phone and found out this order was sent out to bayshore and she had to contact them. she told me the order was not even picked up at all. she then called the driver and she explained they were extremely busy and the order could be delivered by 930 that night...yes 930. so reluctantly i agreed and she said she would credit my card for the delivery charges. so i told her thats a bit late but OK. so 930 comes and goes and by 10 pm i just assume they will deliver the next day.......GUESS AGAIN. they delivered at 1230 in the morning. huge truck with a forklift on the back and you hear the forklift BEEP....BEEP...BEEP as it unloads the truck. by now all my neighbors are peering out of their windows and 1 neighbor has an infant and the neighbor next to me has a 12 yr old of which everyone was woken up. this has to be the craziest experience i have ever had with home depot. i have called customer service and i was put on hold for over 30 mins.....called back and no one answered. called corporate and they tried to call the store manager and im still waiting. im in business so i get things happen but this one blows me away and is not acceptable at all!!!!!

  Paint experience was really great. The guy at the paint section was very knowledgeable and helpful as far as how much paint would be needed and offered very useful advice. I was even able to bring a color from Lowe's and they made a sample within a few minutes. Overall everything was quick, reasonably priced, and I'm very satisfied for the whole experience.
