  If you want either no, or rude service please come here.. One day I asked the lady at the front desk if I could borrow a tape measure. She replied that I WOULD HAVE TO GIVE HER MY WATCH AS COLLATERAL..I complained to the store manager, who was wearing Dreadlocks, and he just shrugged his shoulders... One time I needed wire cut. I was told TO COME BACK IN 1 HOUR, AS THE ELECTRICAL ASSOCIATE WAS ON HIS LUNCH BREAK. Another time I asked the lady at the Hardware section to help me and she said" NO , I'M BUSY NOW." And she walked away... Then one day I asked the Dreadlock wearing manager for help, and he responded by ,rolling his eyes, putting his cell phone to his ear, and walked away. Thank God for the True Value Hardware store in Beacon.

  Can be a little disorganized. Staff is friendly and helpful but not always as knowledgeable as one might hope or expect.

  Love being close to this store. Pet friendly and customer focused staff make this my go to hardware store.
