::Went for high tea with the ladies. We had a great time. Finger food was delicious along with tea options. Staff was very friendly

::A group of ladies wanted to do high tea, and we had THE most wonderful time. The character of this hotel is charming, and the staff is wonderful. I wish I took the name of our waiter. He spoke french. Highly recommend

::Location service and price are great but hotel is outdated. Rooms and decor are old. Not modern

::Summary: Friendly staff, small room, comfortable bed, no workout options of note, decor needs updating and toilet was made for someone much shorter and I’m 5’ 9”. I recently attended a conference in DC and was told by the conference organizers to stay at The Henry Park Hotel. Against my better judgement and for a sense of adventure I decided to stay at the HPH. Check in was a pain, there’s a paper form to fill out...everything just seemed to take forever. Friendly staff but just a very slow check-in process. The elevator is tiny. Three of us fit in the elevator and it was tight with all the bags, etc. The elevator walls also seemed quite old...which isn’t a great feeling. The room was tiny. Like...room for the bed, small walk space and the TV was on the wall. TV was tiny and channels were sparse. Happens to be...the bed was awesome. Like, super comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean...but an old style shower/tub combo and a toilet that was super low to the ground. My partner and I went to check out the “exercise room” and found two treadmills and a bike. Just not an option. The room is also very tight and cloister phobic. However you will find free water there :-). All in all for the price you can find better in DC but if the price is right, it’s a very comfortable bed with friendly staff and a clean, but small, bathroom.

::Gorgeous building from the nineteen teens--on the National Historic Register, a block from the convention center. An actual sitting room off the lobby to take one's tea or read. There's usually a little something to complain about at a hotel? There was nothing to complain about. Courteous, efficient professionals at the front desk. Really good lodging.
