The hotel has been bought out by Hilton and was under extensive renovations while we were staying there. But the rooms were beautiful (with a few maintenance needs), and the staff responsive and eager to help. We were told that the renovation would restore the hotel to it's classic glory, removing all the 80s renovation work. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's done.

Upon booking we were looking forward to staying here. Upon arrival, we noticed the original lobby was closed due to construction. The receptionist was very kind and informed us that there was no longer a gym or bar in the hotel and that we would need to go to the hotel next door. Although a little inconvenient we were okay with that. What we were not okay with was being awakened on a Saturday morning to the sound of loud construction outside of our window from the work being done in the hotel’s lobby. We were not informed of this upon check in or booking and this is not mentioned on their website. We booked this hotel for a relaxing weekend with the hope of sleeping in a little. That was definitely not possible with all of the noise. Definitely call to see if the construction is done before booking. Maybe a room on the other side of the building will be quieter.

I have never been so disappointed in a stay at a hotel in my entire life. I understand construction is necessary but I paid $330 for a room with a queen bed and the view out of the window was of scaffolding and I was woken at 6:30 am by the construction and banging in the hallway by the staff. The bed was missing a blanket so I had to request one from the front desk. Additionally, there was no restaurant or bar in the hotel and all we were given was a coupon for breakfast at another hotel. I feel robbed that I spent so much money for so little service. I will never come back to this hotel and will never recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely awful experience! Was here 5 nights, paid almost $1400 to be there. The mattress was horrible was a massive dip in the middle, didn’t get a fridge or microwave in our room. The room was extremely dirty. Had to go buy Clorox wipes to clean it myself. There was dried food and some sort of dried something smeared across the surface. My socks were filthy from walking across the floor. Front desk staff all but one was absolutely horrible. Oh and they didn’t bother to tell us about the $500 security deposit until after I check my account and approached them about it. I’m beyond disgusted with this visit.

Was not informed of renovations, no restaurant no bar. Had to leave and go to another hotel to get food and drinks. Guy at front desk over night was rude and could not direct me where to get anything. Guy doing valet parking was more helpful then front desk. Will never book here again. Could have spent half the money and stayed at motel 6 and got better service.
