This hotel was wonderful! Conveniently located in a great part of the city with lots of shopping and dining options within a few minutes of a walk. Parking was decent, with validation we got a discount at a nearby garage though we had to walk a couple of blocks from the garage to the hotel. The lovely lady who checked us in upgraded us from a double room to a queen room with a view, which was so sweet and we loved having a window! The rooms were modest but well furnished and clean. The coffee bar to the left downstairs was less than ideal, they were rude whenever we asked for water to bring to our rooms. However Cafe Landwear, to the right, was incredible, delicious and had such good service! We definitely used our discount there several times.

It's in a great location and reasonably priced compared to other hotels. The size of the room lets it down, along with a slightly odd layout in our case (appreciating other rooms may be different). The breakfast is in no way a continental buffet breakfast and staff were in our case quite rude when we asked for more than one pastry. We weren't allowed another, but these pastries then sat out all day. It would be fine if this is correctly advertised but as of December 2022 it still says 'continental buffet breakfast' on their website. The breakfast is located in a separately-managed café and it would seem they're not too pleased with this.

Very nice but small room, no bath, just shower. But it had everything else i needed or wanted, and BEST continental breakfast with fresh baked pastries from their cafe and coffee. Location is everything, and this girl is PERFECT for a start in the Back Bay

Hotel is in a great location, perfectly met our needs for one night in Boston that was not too expensive. The barista at the coffee shop downstairs was rude and the complimentary coffee was horrible, but otherwise the hotel experience itself was great. Clean room, easy in and out check-in/checkout, polite hotel staff, clean room. No complaints at all. Recommended.

The people at the front desk were very helpful, although I must say that it is more polite not to play a video game while conversing with the customer. Don't you darling, you know who I mean... 😁 In the restaurant on the right side you could eat quite well. The prices were also quite moderate. Unfortunately, the cafe on the left wasn't that good. The breakfast room, if you can call it that, in the back was extremely dirty, coffee was not refilled, and generally the staff there were unfortunately very overwhelmed and rude. Complimentary breakfast was one muffin. Hmm The rooms were...let's say...convenient. Very old-fashioned and boring. However, the location of the hotel is excellent. Right in the middle, you can get everywhere quickly, and despite everything, you don't sink into the chaos of the city. All in all a hotel with no real highs, but no terrible lows either.
