  Great place but get there early if you want to sit at the bar or a table, it gets packed quickly. They have great pickleback combinations.

  Chill bar with craft cocktails and a pickle themed drinks options. Nice atmosphere and decor, friendly service and reasonable prices. The pickled drink theme is different but done well and can be accompanied by a selection of similarly themed snacks like pickles, olives and beans. There was a small jazzy cover band playing on the night I attended (Saturday) which added to the atmosphere.

  Best place for pickle back shots that won’t break the bank. The music is great but the bar can get pretty packed as it is very narrow. Good place to go for a pregame. There can be a wait on the weekends but the line moves quickly. I would also recommend trying their cocktails - very delicious .

  The Belfry is a wonderful establishment for casual drinks near Union Square. Their long wooden bar with ample stool seating serves up a variety of cocktails, drafts and liquors. The vibe is slightly hip and bespoke without being pretentious or trendy. It's a bar that can equally work for a first date or happy hour with co-workers. The lighting's dim enough without being too intimate and the volume is just right to hold steady conversation. The Belfry is a refreshing option to have on your radar if you're looking for a chill meeting spot centrally located in the East Village.

  Best pickle backs in the city. Really pretty space, conveniently located right off Union Square. Super nice staff, with really good live music. Plus there's a polar bear looking dog who's sweet as can be
