::My wife loved it especially. I personally bought some Cowie shells to accent my African garbs. She purchased several African trade beads and beautiful stones. The atmosphere was very pleasant with all the art work on display and for sale. Plus the customer service was excellent and very friendly. Will definitely keep going.

::As the year comes to a close, I would be remiss if I did not post a well deserved and favorable recommendation for The Artist Market and the absolutely stellar customer service received from both the sales associate and the local artist himself! The occasion was the marriage of my lovely Goddaughter, Emily Christina Frank to her one and only true love Mr. Garrett Rountree. The rush for the MOST absolute, unique gift I could find was on and Jennifer at the Market came through! You see, we are a local family and the gift had to have both magic and meaning; it had to have distinction and authenticity, something of great meaning; a local item with authenticity and roots. Something unique to the culture of our great city was a must for this special couple. I rushed in with an agenda and came out with my purpose...well, ordered that is! For you see, this great gift takes time. Needless to say, it was truly loved by both the bride and groom! I wanted them to have a piece of New Orleans with them forever; something they could pass down through the generations, and I pray that every time they look at the NOLA VINTAGE TILES they will be reminded of this great city we call home. ::I like to browse this little shop. It's a great place to find a gift for your sister, Mom, daughter, or whoever really. :) There are several local artists represented here, and if I had to buy a souvenir-type gift, I would look here for sure. I also like to walk through to the connecting antique store. Lots of interesting things here.
