  I fully expected to love this. I love interesting flavor combinations, I know my way around a good donut, and I try to support local bakeries when possible, especially given the sheer number of outstanding local options in San Antonio. But this has missed the mark twice for me. The first time, the flavor combinations sounded awesome and looked even prettier (beautifully decorated), but they tasted stale. Second time around, I was at an event (Zoo La La), where they were running a sampling stand. They were completely out of donuts... within maybe an hour of the event starting. Really? They were given a prime location, literally the second stand, right across from the jaguars, and everything was closed up and packed away within an hour. And it was not very crowded. None of the other food stands, at least 80% of which were small, local establishments, were that unprepared and ran out of food that quickly. Overall, a disappointment. I'd recommend Bakery Lorraine instead, if you're in the Pearl, or go to Bird Bakery or Commonwealth.

  Our road trip came to a lunch break in the beautiful city of San Antonio and our kids soon asked for a dessert break too... we traveled a short 1.2 miles over to The Art Of Donut to find incredible treats for all of us! The melt in your mouth goodness won us over immediately and we will be sure to drop in again soon! Try the The Big O Donut, you will not be disappointed 😍😍😍 - the kids looooved the Birthday Cake Donut and I absolutely loved the strawberry with chocolate ganache donut... Thank you offering such amazing treats Art of Donut! 💗🤗 Did I also mention these donuts are giants?! 😍😋

  The coffee and donuts are super good, but it can take up to an hour to get your order since the place is incredibly popular. Do not recommend when you're in a hurry but if you have an hour or two and have a hankering for coffee and donuts, this place is worth it.

  Very expensive for a donut, however the donuts are huge, so you could share. My kids said they were too sweet, I agree, coffee was good though. ☺

  After reading the reviews, I had high hopes. Ordering felt rushed. Cashier kept glancing back at the people behind us.The 3 different donuts we ordered came out cold. Tasted fresh but baked earlier & left on shelf. I ordered mocha with almond milk. It had zero sweetness flavor. After the first sip it was lukewarm, probably due to the ceiling fan above us set on high. Also had the breakfast sandwhich on pretzel donut. That was just okay. Overall, we won't be back.
