::If you like receiving drill bits in your Uber-delivered sandwich and then getting blown off by the manager, who says âmaybe itâs just a staple, do you even know what a drill bit looks like?â, then this is the spot for you. No reparations, no apologies, just condescension.

::Pretty fun place! It's fairly empty most of the time, so Temptations is a good place to be productive. The environment doesn't have much personality to it - the establishment was fairly empty and decor was very neutral - but it's okay! The service was also pretty good. When I visited, they had local Berklee musicians play in the evening - they were all great! That was a good experience. The location's good and it's fun to support local businesses. The most important aspect of a cafe to me, though, is the food, and I was really disappointed by what I received, especially for the price. All of the ingredients on my sandwich were low-quality, and the lettuce was dry and stale! There was no sauce or other strong seasoning or flavor to the sandwich. The chocolate chip cookie was also pretty disappointing - it was thin and crispy, but a bit dry and eggy at the same time, and the chocolate used was - frankly - terrible! I had trouble finishing. I would not recommend getting food here. I'd be okay with all of this if the cafe were cheap, but I ended up paying a price I associate with high-end cafes in the Boston area - of which this is not. Didn't order a drink, though, so I can't speak to that. This place is worth trying out for a beverage if you're in the area! But avoid the food.

::Love this spot in Brookline - have gotten breakfast/lunch to go, delivered and also sat down to enjoy there. The food is absolutely delicious, itâs our go to place in the area for breakfast sandwiches. We love the Sausage, Egg and Cheese, breakfast burritos, and my personal favorite is the Sammie Sandwich. Definitely check it out!

::I happened to be in the area looking for coffee and stopped in. I noticed they had bangles with lox. It was excellent. It appears they are very popular as there was a good amount of foot traffic. However, I was not impressed with the social skills of the customers. While the store is on the small side but there was more than enough seating, but people still thought it was OK to sit right on top of me and did not respect social distancing. I ended up finishing my excellent bagel on a bench out on the street. Top scores for food and service.

::The place is nice and cozy. People who work there were very pleasant. The only problem that we had was that is the âFalafel saladâ which was pretty big salad, were just 3 little pieces of falafel. Which Iâm still not sure was planned or a miss-counted, but surely was pretty disappointing. Everything else was great. Also if youâll be deciding between tuna sandwich or tuna panini, second one is definitely better!
