    I know that 5 star reviews tend not to get taken serious but in this case two individuals at this location deserve the highest marks possible. On the night of 3-24-18 as our vacation was ending we stopped at this location to explain a situation we had just experienced at another Starbucks that was closing and because of their rush to leave made our 4 drinks without much care to the point that not one tasted as a Starbucks drink or even anything we could get a gas station. So after looking for another open Starbucks we entered the location at 1301 Connecticut Ave and after Bobby (Supervisor on duty) and Eli (Barista) heard our story they proceeded with remaking our drinks no questions asked. It is this type of attention to a customer's concern that has made us Starbucks patrons over other establishments. Thank you for what you guys did as we were able to enjoy the last night of our time in DC drinking our Latte, White Mocha and two Hot Chocolate for our girls. Keep up the good work!

    This location needs better staff. There might be one or two people to keep that are trainable, but there are a few employees who clearly hate their job and customers (especially customers who try to be cheerful, apparently). I reported an issue with the app's inventory - the app said they didn't have a few pastries which they did indeed have. It's been a few days and the issue still hasn't been fixed which is costing them money from people like myself who order on the app and don't have time to wait in the line before work. Also, as someone who counts on Starbucks for breakfast as well as caffeine, it's having a negative effect on my day and my willingness to spend money at Starbucks versus another nearby coffee chain. The main reason for the negative review is the hugely passive aggressive move that one employee made by keeping my pastry behind the counter for several minutes after it was finished with the oven rather than handing it to me (even when I went nearer to ask for it); she said "they'll move it down the line" instead of simply picking it up and handing it to me which would have been the best solution and inconvenienced noone. I saw no line and ordered the pastry in person on that occasion because of the app issue.

    At this point, I try to avoid Starbucks unless I am at the airport. So I broke from what I believe and made it to Starbucks. My issue is that the Chai is too sweet so I like being able to get the unsweetened version, it doesn't taste good at all though. I went back to the regular one. This one did have the Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Chocolate out so that was a plus. Some places don't. I also liked that it was in a big space. I know something else was here so I'm not giving the credit to Starbucks. My issue was that the floor had a loose tile I actually tripped over. I'm way too cool to tell staff: "I tripped...wet floor sign or something." Anyway, Starbucks is raking in way too much dough to be having loose tiles. Yeah, I don't like Starbucks for being Starbucks.

    Okay, where do i start? The first time I came in to this location, the workers got my order wrong. They gave me regular milk instead of coconut milk. When I asked them to fix my order, they angrily took my cup and then put it aside. Then continued on another customer behind me. Who ordered after me. Ate this point I was already annoyed. Then the worker had the audacity to throw my cup to me and spill some of it of my shirt and the table where they place the finished cups. Now I'm pissed, They said sorry. and thats it. At this point, I was already done. I was very ready to yell at them but my Best friend calmed me down. THEN My best friend who ordered after me. They also messed up her order and gave her something completely different. It was bitter and bland. It was not what she ordered. My best friend would know. She used to work at Starbucks. I am COMPLETELY NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS CRAPPY AND DISCRIMINATORY LOCATION. I am taking my business elsewhere and telling all of my friends about this Starbucks. I can see from all the bad reviews already placed here. Making this place a complete DUMP! I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS if i could. 0000000000000 STARS
