They said my name and offered a smile. Very good service. The menu is awesome and varied. Changes with the season. No set time for the bar to close but the kitchen stops around 9. Very friendly and open atmosphere. I originally thought it would be very uncomfortable and high class but it's so very much the opposite. Open and inviting. Laid back environment. Sit and speak a spell. Tell a story. Read a comic from the shop s block away. Definitely great coffee and atmosphere. You've made a repeat customer out of me (and the price isn't half bad)

Went back after laptop restrictions were instilled and was very pleased with the service, food options (vegan friendly!) and atmosphere. It’s like an upscale, intellectual and hipster version of Starbucks. You have to walk downstairs to get to the dimly lit study, cafe and romantic restaurant (yes, it pulls off all three and well!). For my vegan/veg friends - try the oatmeal, hummus and hot or iced coffee drinks with coconut or soy milk.

It's refreshing to find a cafe and bar that encourages work and play in equal parts. This garden-level lounge is all business during the day, with standard coffee and pastries to fuel you until 4pm, when the space transitions to happy hour. You'll be asked to put your computer away and it would be wise to abide—the cocktails don't disappoint.

The space is beautiful. It's a great atmosphere both for light brunch or drinks with friends. The coffee and avocado toast were great options for brunch. In the evening the candle lit tables are cute and the fresh juice cocktails are amazing! The staff was friendly and attentive.
