We went here last Saturday just to check out their meat selection and the butcher, David was so nice that he offered us tons of samples and spoke to us like we were already familiar. With that, we decided to go to brunch the next day on Sunday. We did not have to wait for a table which surprised us, because the food was so incredible! I ordered the pancakes and they pretty much melted in my mouth! They also had pretty delicious mimosas and you can chose your selection for this. I obviously had to get grapefruit! We were really surprised that we enjoyed it so much here. We were adamant at first because we thought it would be too pretentious, but we actually got the opposite. We totally recommend this location for buying some good meat or brunch! Also, the women's restroom was extremely beautiful! I could eat in there.

They have a wonderful full service knowledgeable butcher! With NC fresh made sausage, pepperoni , deli meats, chicken, and seafood. We were happily surprised. They also had fresh produce from region farms as well as other normal grocery store finds. This was a great addition to this neighborhood defiantly making it more walkable!

Ridiculously slow service and food service. 2+ hours for the meal to arrive. 40 minutes between salad and meal. Excuse was that the kitchen lost the ticket. The Food was Ok. This is Not a place I will visit again. There are Too many other good choices in downtown. The Manager did come to table at our request. He did comp dessert and apologize for the mistake.

I’ll be totally honest here.. when we walked in the first thing I noticed was that nobody had anything to drink besides water and alcohol. The menu was very small and was EXTREMELY different than what I’m used to. At first I felt under dressed and uncomfortable.. my girlfriend talked me into getting over myself (lol).. hands down.. some of the best food I’ve ever had. It was exploding with flavor. To be honest, I had never liked kale ..OR onions... I cleared my plate.. I recommend this place to anyone who has a “comfort zone”... step out of it and try this place... it will truly open your eyes to how good things can be If you just stop being a picky eater. Thomas was a FANTASTIC server too!!

Amazing quality meats that are local and ethical. The pork belly and bacon are top shelf. The sausages are the best I've ever had. The butcher shop will make you anything you want, and the guys there are really knowledgeable. The restaurant is incredibly accommodating of allergies, more so than any other restaurant we've been to. Their food is delicious, and as real (no processed bs) as food gets. Going to this grocery store is a pleasure not a chore, we look forward to it every week. This is our favorite butcher shop and restaurant in Raleigh!
