Great sandwhich and cheese shop with outdoor and indoor seating. Knowledgable staff, well-organized coldcuts/cheese, clean, naturally lit space with many windows. Funky cheeseboards, jams, and chocolates for sale. You can order for pickup, too.

Fantastic little cheese shop with relatively reasonable prices. We got a bunch of cheese and meat to-go for a picnic later in the day and the staff was great at helping us pick exactly what we wanted while offering samples and advice throughout even though they were relatively busy. Highly recommended!

St James is a fantastic. They have the best cheeses and meats in New Orleans and actually supply many restaurants around town. We love going here for a wine or cider and enjoying the delicious cheese boards. Seating is limited so don't show up with a large party. Not many kids options so get a babysitter and have an adult beverage. Great place for dates although the weekends can get busy during meal times. They have two patios for you to choose from. The line inside can get quite cramped at times so try to go during non-peak hours. The cheese monger here is world class. They also serve bread from Bellegarde which is some of the best bread you will ever have. Highly recommended.

Delicious food. I had the Wee Chef salad and the bacon was perfectly crisp and the 7-minute egg was just right. The dressing was nice and the salad had just the right amount of all the ingredients. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that it's a little pricey and the food delivery was a bit confused and chaotic. It was hopping busy, order at counter. Great place of you're not in a hurry.
