::This motel is so cool and we absolutely loved our stay! We loved the vintage vibes and amazing customer service. Our room was so cute, comfortable and super clean. We also loved the local products used from the shampoo and conditioner to the local coffee that was all complimentary. The hand written note in our room and adorable cards with instructions and neighborhood food, drinks and shopping recommendations were so appreciated. The location is great too! Walking distance to a lot of great places or a short drive to downtown. We hope to be back and highly recommend this place!

::I spotted the South Wind Motel while driving by and thought it looked so vintage and cool! I needed to stay four nights near downtown Columbus for work and was excited to get a chance to stay at the motel! When I contacted the owners with questions, they responded quickly and were friendly and helpful. Checking in was a breeze - it’s so convenient to park right in front of the room and bring in my luggage. The free parking is a nice bonus so close to the city. The motel was quiet, and the area is great! The room was impeccably clean! Cool decor, high quality linens, and lots of room for hanging clothes made the room really comfortable. I look forward to staying again soon!

::South Wind Motel was extremely comfortable! We could tell the whole room was thoughtfully planned and perfected to make guests feel at home. We especially loved the local elements with local coffee and local soaps from places right in Columbus. The bed was very comfortable and the whole vibe of the hotel was flawless. Not needing a key for our room was a nice touch since I tend to misplace them and we didn’t even have to check in at the office—went straight to our room when we arrived! There is some nice local places for coffee and pastries nearby in the morning and they are just a short walk away. All in all staying at the South Wind Motel was a huge win! 10/10 recommend!

::We were celebrating a birthday. My room are very clean with modern touches but a vintage feel. The bed was super comfortable with soft, fresh, white bedding. I appreciated the coffee in my room for the morning and the mini refrigerator came in handy in the basic queen room. The staff was very friendly and were such a blessing helping us learn the area. It’s within walking distance to delicious restaurants for dinner, morning coffee, brunch, and Sunday church! I would definitely stay here again. ❤️🙌

::We had a blast staying here for our wedding weekend! Not only was the location walkable to everything we needed in German Village, but the motel was so beautiful! The outside is funky and inside the rooms are gorgeously decorated with everything you need. We loved the Chemex - the coffee was so tasty - and everything in the suite was so comfortable and well appointed! We especially loved the little cabinet in the front office that had things you might forget - I forgot my face wash and a hair tie and easily found both when I needed it. Perfect spot!
