  Submitted request to make an appointment online. They call back 2 days later set an appointment for the following Monday with a window beginning at 10am. Called at 11:30 and stated that nobody would show up that day and offer to reschedule for first appointment of the day 3 days later. Get a call at 8:30 will not make that first appointment of the day promise but fear not once a job is complete will have someone right over there. 3 hours later no idea when someone will show up. Guess since this was booked through Home Advisor with a waived service call, they feel that they can put you off indefinitely until you pay for the "Emergency" status to your ticket or your plumbing issue becomes an emergency through attrition.

  Excellent service on short notice for water leak in pipe at water meter! Franc was professional and polite, worked diligently into evening to replace leaking pipe. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I am a repeat Shafer customer and will continue to use this company!

  They scheduled me on a weekend and moved other appointments around to accommodate a weekend request. A+. Nick, the tech who came out, was thorough and answered all of my questions, and even took time on saturday evening to walk me through options for the future. No pressure sales pitch, clean, professional. They will be my first call in a future service need.

  Jason came to inspect a floor furnace for one of my customers. This floor furnace is very old. Jason was very thorough and we are very pleased with the service that he provided. We highly recommend Shafer services to anyone who is looking for air conditioning and plumbing work. In the past I have used them several times for plumbing work on older houses and they have always been very successful.
