I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. I just went and they forgot about my drink and made it with real milk. I asked about 5 times for soy and I still got milk. I'm lactose intolerant and am now sick. When I called they were rude and belittling. Never going here again.

It's been years since I've been to this Scooters. It has changed. The service then was great, the atmosphere conducive to people who wanted some quiet time and/or people who wanted to socialize. Not anymore. Everything seems to have been amplified toward an extroverted cliental...this location only. Taylor Dane and George Michael were blaring over the sound system where it once was...a kinder gentler music...Nora Jones...10000 Maniacs. I realize that dates me, but I came to a coffee shop, not a dance club. This combined with no effort to break up the volume that now echos from the clanging and cleaning from the bar. My headphones are not enough to block out the noise. There are atleast 5 people on staff and the place is 80% empty. There's no line at the drive through to support the overhead. Maybe it's training day. It's a mess of young kids who turn twice to ask, "do we give free refills on hot water for tea?". Charge me a quarter...I don't care. I didn't come for smoothies nor coffee. I'll have tea, Earl Grey...hot. I'm instructed to grab my own tea bags (no tip) and am given a paper cup of hot water. Honestly. Allow me, to hand you my selection where in turn you place the tea bags in the cup BEFORE pouring in hot water. Show some respect and notion of tea ceremony. My entire plan to sit down for a very long day of tea, bookwork, and writing is out the door as soon as I'm finished here. This is not a place for the creative introvert. I'm sure the quality of product is still as good as ever. I will never know, because I will stick to my Scooters on 48th & McKinley. There...size, service, quality, and atmosphere are what a Scooters should be.

This store use to be the best location... However they've become a hub of training staff who doesn't care about working or have any morals or ethics. It's just blatant as far as how rude and unprofessional the staff and management is. They make the drink wrong and blame the customer for it. This is not how a business let alone a service based business should operate. There are multiple other coffee shops in the area that don't have the same issues this location does consistently. Even the corporate office seems to agree with how they operate and conduct business....

My standby coffee joint. Not the greatest coffee in the world (or Omaha), this won't compare to local roasters or similar. It is however good enough that there atmosphere keeps me coming back. Everyone is friendly, it's bright and relaxing inside, normally pretty quiet and a good place to sit for a while having a hot and tasty.

Great if you like hair in your drink, and rude employees who argue about the hair "not actually being IN the drink". Apparently management is not concerned with the lack of quality in product or customer service. I wrote Scooters on March 2nd, 2017 (over two weeks ago) and have still had no response. This was my issue: I came through the drive through with my mother and ordered two coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches that totaled just under $20. After taking a sip of my iced coffee, I noticed a long brown hair fully submerged in my drink, secured by the lid, and hanging down the outside of my cup (Gross!). I know accidents happen, so I simply turned around and went into the building to ask for a new drink. I went in and nicely told the lady at the counter, "Hi I just came through the drive through and noticed there was a hair in my drink". Expecting her to apologize and just make me a new drink, I was instead thrown back by her arguing with me stating, "Well the hair isn't actually IN your drink". I was left shocked. The employee really did just argue with me about there being a hair submerged in my drink, and acted like it wasn't anything to complain about. I told her, "No it is actually IN my drink" as I showed her the hair fully submerged in my drink. Without a word, she sighed and abruptly took my drink from me, threw it away, handed a new cup to another employee and walked off. I couldn't believe how rudely I was treated, all because I NICELY told them I had a hair in my drink and just would like a new one. Is this really too much to ask? Apparently Scooters condones this type of behavior based on the reaction from the employee, and the lack of any response from the email I wrote to the company as well. I buy coffee every day before work, but I can assure you, I will pick a less conveniently located coffee shop, before I ever return to this Scooters again.
