  I had a private event for my wife's 30th birthday at Sauce. All our guests absolutely loved the food and the experience. But honestly the best part was working with Amanda to plan the event. She was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and friendly. I attribute the event's success to her planning and communication. Can't recommend Sauce enough.

  The people at Sauce are amazing. I was hosting some out of town guests and needed a place that could accommodate 11 people (adults and kids). It's alway hard to arrange these dinners in NYC. Either the food won't appeal to all, the space is too small, the restaurant too loud. This was perfect. They gave us a semi private table so we could actually spend the time catching up, and the food was both delish and plentiful. Thanks to Amanda (on events team) and the wait staff for being so accommodating and lovely.

  Good pizza. I can't speak for their other dishes, but I've had their pizza multiple times and it was always fantastic. I dined in on a Sunday afternoon, so the atmosphere was very quiet and chill. My guess is that on a weekend night that gets much more chaotic. But fantastic for mid-afternoon!

  Their food was okay but didn't taste very good maybe because of the large order. We had so many dishes so was very filling just with the appetizers alone. It was extremely hot too where we sat. The pasta wasn't all dente. Garlic bread wasn't very garlicky. Since it was family style they didn't give us extra utensils to share the food, I had to ask for it, ask for napkins, ask for water. Also when they were removing food, which they were quick to do before I can say I wanted to pack it to go, they spilled sauce if my friend's coat. Overall okay, but I don't think I will come back.

  I booked a reservation at Sauce for a larger group, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Amanda was absolutely lovely from start to finish throughout the whole process. She'd respond to my emails right away, answered all my questions thoroughly, and accommodated all my last-minute changes with no hesitation! The group was extremely happy with their meal and the service. I will definitely be reaching out to Amanda directly for future reservations!
