  Great food! Got my Colorado green chili fix! Service was a little chaotic but got it done, place could use a good cleaning.

  People were nice. Food wasn’t very good. I came at 1:30 pm on a Saturday so maybe they were ready to close? Place was 1/2 full Ordered a smothered burrito, beef and bean. 1/2 and 1/2 chili. Wasn’t spicy at all. I asked for hot sauce but they don’t have any. The chili that smothered it was room temp and the cheese was cold. Just didn’t taste good at all.

  We have been coming to this Santiago's for over 7 years since we moved from Lakewood up to Wheat Ridge. We got our usual to go Indian Taco, unfortunately we didn't check before we left as we never had issues in the past. Open up the Indian Taco and it's missing lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. On top of all of that the food was cold. We called and they wanted us to drive back so they could make a new one, which was not possible due to a funeral we needed to attend. If you come to this location make sure your order is correct, Buyer Beware!

  Today's visit was a to-go order. I walked in and both order takers were messing around on phones, in the back, joking around, etc. which is not a problem generally speaking. I love that the staff has fun and loves their job/colleagues. It became a problem when both of them were absent from the register/To-go counter when every customer came in to order or pick up an order that I as a manager would have had an issue. One employee was great- apologizing and asking how she could help. Making it appear as though she was working (and sometimes she was cleaning or taking items to the kitchen). The other gal was just wandering back and forth to the bathroom or kitchen. They left am the counter alone approximately 8 times in 10 minutes while I was there. That said they were both polite, engaging and smiled when I spoke to them both during ordering and when grabbing my food. Randomly there was no one eating in at 5pm on a Saturday. As always the food was great! Hot, delicious, and the green Chili was bomb! Cant wait to get more! ** At previous visits the staff have been amazing regardless of time of day so I think this is either a one off or maybe new employees. Again it didn't impact customer care but I would be worried about money behind the register, tip jars, other valuables, etc.

  The burritos are as fantastic, and the best I've ever tasted. The table service was decent, but the limitations on available beverages was a bit disappointing. Still, totally worth driving 6.5 hours!
