::This is the world famous San Diego Zoo!! This is top tier conservatory at its best. It's best to prepare for a zoo day as it you would prepare for a day hike: walking shoes, sunscreen, shade hat, and a bunch of water. You are permitted to bring outside food and water (no straws) into the zoo, so a nice picnic is well within reach. Bonus, they serve draft beer that you may walk around with while you take in the awesomeness of the animals. There are so many trails with nooks and crannies that every visit is a new experience. The zoo never disappoints and often pleasantly surprises. Enjoy!!

::It is so gorgeous inside the zoo so many beautiful plants and flowers you feel like you're somewhere out of town in a tropical island. They have so many gorgeous birds and animals. I love that they have such a wonderful breeding program and are able to help animals and plants from becoming extinct. The bird aviaries are tranquil and relaxing. An amazing selection of beautiful birds. I love this do so much. I take daily walks there

::This zoo exemplifies what zoos should be! A place where human beings are invited guests. Invited into a space designed for the creatures living there. It's a beautiful maintained space where the animals always come first. Very focused on education, this is a great place for all ages to enjoy. Lots of walking but they do have a number of transportation systems for those with accessibility issues. The food at the stalls and restaurants is well above average. Added plus, you are encouraged to bring your own water bottle and they will fill it for free at any of the food stalls. Environmentally conscious!
