  Terri Smith is one of the few people that I will let cut my hair. Even when she tries something different it turns out great.

  Horrible experience at this salon. The woman who provided services to me was great as far as skill, but several women here made some very racist comments on my last visit. Several young African-American boys came in the salon and apparently, though the boys were friendly and pleasant, the salon employees were afraid they were 'casing the joint' and planned to rob the salon, though there was absolutely no indication of that. After the boys left, the salon employees wanted to lock the doors so the boys didn't return. They also made a plan to tell the boys they couldn't come back unless they had appointments and 'prepaid' for their visits. I find these comments appalling. I will never return to this salon and I will spread the word that the employees are racist and discriminatory.

  Salon Fx is my place for a quality haircut by an experienced, personable stylist (Teri Smith). Front desk staff are great, too.

  Glynnis Garcia did an amazing job on my hair. I have the crazy, big hair curls. She managed to tame my curls and make my hair look beautiful. She is just the sweetest and made my visit so welcoming. Definitely going back to her.

  Glynnis G made my hair look better than it ever has and it's still in the in-between process of going lighter! I went in not knowing what I wanted and she helped me get exactly what I needed! Everyone there was very friendly, they had an incredibly clean store, they were informative (& coming from someone who doesn't know hair at all was very helpful) but they didn't try to push products on you which I'm not accustom to at all! Despite being downtown parking was great and getting home was easy, despite leaving at about 5pm! I'll never box dye my hair again!
