    I have never written a review for a company because of their poor service or craftsmanship, but there is a first time for everything. I didn't take the time to review this company prior to using them, and due to the convenience, I decided to give them a whirl. Take notice. Don't make the same mistake I did. A few months ago I brought a winter coat in to be dry cleaned and to have some of the lining fixed. They did the dry cleaning, and didn't fix them lining, so we had to send it back. That is not the reason for my complaint. I am appalled at my recent experience, and will detail it in length here. I had pants hemmed 3 months ago, and the hem came out. I brought my pants into Ruby's to be fixed because of the shoddy craftsmanship. The woman at the desk, Clara Bass, told me that this would be fixed without additional cost to me on 01/31. I came back on 02/06 to Clara calling someone, whom she claimed to be her daughter, a "retard" on the phone. She then proceeds to have the gall to tell me that her manager will make me pay for them to fix my pants, that he will discount me "10%", and that they won't be available until the following Friday 02/13. I said this is unacceptable, I won't pay, and to have her manager call me if there are any issues he wants to discuss. Her reasoning for me having to pay, and for the delay in my pants being hemmed, was that their old seamstress retired and they hired a new one. Her manager never called me. I came back into the store today to pick up my pants, and Clara was again rude, and said there was a charge for the pants. She tried to recant her original statement that I wouldn't pay for the pants to be fixed, and said she originally set the expectation that the pants would be done in a week in a half (which would still have been unreasonable even if she had). Last time I checked 13 days is longer than a week and a half, and that is assuming that my pants had been ready to pick up last night. I will say that Amar, the manager, was relatively reasonable. He was calm, and provided me a "discount". The problem is that money isn't the issue I am taking with Ruby's. The issue I take with them is their lack of ability to stand behind their product and service, and that Clara is a rude, inconsiderate, and angry individual who has no true grasp of the meaning of customer service. The fact that I can't be assured that the work that they do will be of high enough quality to last more than 3 months, or that it will be done in a reasonable amount of time, is why I won't be continuing my patronage there. No matter what type of discount they gave me. Hopefully others will read this and realize that paying a few extra dollars, or having to go a little bit out of the way will greatly outweigh the perceived "convenience" that Ruby's offers.

    Really not good. A few things ready on time. A few that were not. It's been days and I still have not heard from them. Worried my things are lost. Nobody picking up the phone line after multiple tries... will be going somewhere else next time. Also the woman running the desk is very unfriendly and completely unapologetic for the inconvenience. A little friendliness goes a long way, and here you will not find any!

    Horrible! Two zippers of the coat were missing. Brought the coat back, all they said was they have no idea why the zipper would come off and no guarantee will find it and ask me to bring the coat back. What kind service is it? i understand damage sometimes happen, but as a dry cleaner, you should have a general procedures to handle such things. Concord with previous review. AVOID ruby's. Not only they charges higher than other, but also bad and irresponsible customer services.

    I wanted to use Ruby's since it is right next to my daily coffee fix and the connivence was unbeatable. First, they managed to get white marks all over my grey sweater (almost looked like bleach). Second, it took them a week and a half to dry clean a dress for me. Third, and now I am livid, they destroyed a very expensive Anthropologie sweater beyond repair. The sweater came out with stains that it didn't have when it went in! If you are looking for a dry cleaners in the area avoid Ruby's at all costs! I am just hoping that another competent dry cleaning service can fix Ruby's hideous mistake. I can't believe there are positive reviews about this place. Those reviewers must work at Ruby's or something...
