  I’ve lived in the NoVA area all my life and even when I was traveling in the military I would always Reagan over Dulles. There’s so much to do within walking distance in Crystal and Pentagon City. The metro is close and can take you into DC or Alexandria. I always fly Southwest and I never have any issues and always quick to my gate and getting my baggage. For me, pick up and drop off is easy since Southwest is in the old building and sort of has it’s own terminal. I will only use Reagan when I fly from the DC area.

  So easy to use. Beautiful and historic. Close to the city and the approach for landings provides more spectacular views than any other airport I have ever flown into. So, if you are given the option, always choose the window seat flying in and out of Reagan. Day and night it is beautiful. You won't be disappointed. (Except maybe on foggy days). Dropping off and picking up passengers can be a little tricky if you don't pay attention to which terminal to use. However, there is easy access to the Metro and taxis. You are 5 minutes from the National Mall. Best airport in the DC area. So, if you have the option between DCA, BWI and Dulles, I highly recommend Reagan every time. Even if you have an extended delay (overnight, etc.) You can walk to dozens of terrific restaurants, some very nice hotels and you have immediate access to public transportation. Just something to think about. Happy travels!

  I just came from Chicago. I don't have idea about how big this airport. I'm just seeing this side(gate 10 round 15 different gate sides) It is really empty now this side but 500 feet away crowded. Time 09:28am Monday. We just landed and we just left from plane. It was really quick. I need to spend little time here and I was looking charger for phone. I found but I didn't like because it's not next to seat. Just some one of them next the seat. So it's hard. But finally I found something for me. I added photos. Pretty quite here at least now. Every 30 minutes the system says local time. 4 stars because of charger. Restrooms are clean ✅ fast✅ not to many charger❌ Update: 9 months later I am here again and it was good still. There was no problem.

  DCA is, in my experience, a very good airport. When conditions are right and everything else is set everything goes smoothly. I feel like there is good communication between the airlines and the airport which allows for things to also go smoothly. The staff are extremely helpful when asked questions. This is one of my favorite airports to depart from and arrive to. It also helps that it's so convenient in location.

  Very difficult to locate washrooms. Looked for it like hours. I wish there were good public signs to help aide. The halls are good nice shops within the Airport. Security is good. The customer service is great and what I loved most is there waiting area. It is one of the best I have ever been to. Nice Airport service.
