  I found these guys after Mayflower told me they couldn't do my move after they sent a guy to give me a quote. Well, Roadway took Mayflower's quote and worked with me one on one to get my move back on track, they were even cheaper than Mayflower. Ken Chen was the absolute best and truly did everything he could to make sure my stuff would get to me within the week of me moving in. They came early May 25th picked up everything, even small items that weren't listed in the original quote. By June 9th (a Saturday!) we had everything with no issues and no surprise price increase. Thanks Roadway!

  BEST MOVING COMPANY IN NYC! Roadway Movers are extremely professional, very easy to get along with, and do not waste a second on packing and moving. Special shout-out to our moving specialist, Danny, who was by our side from the beginning of the process and was very accommodating with our requests. You definitely will not go wrong with Roadway.

  White Glove Treatment Roadway movers did a fantastic job packing my house and moving my stuff..Prior to my move date, Adrian came to my house, promptly at our 12:00 appointment time, impeccably dressed in a suit and tie (what a nice way to present yourself and represent your company). Adrian went through my house room by room and made a detailed list of everything that I needed packed and moved and even pointed out some things that I had over-looked. He promised me a detailed price quote within 1 day and sure enough the quote was in my email box on time. The price was fair and very reasonable. The day of my move, Maurice and his crew came promptly at the designated time of 9:00 and even gave me a text when he was close to arriving. The entire crew worked so hard without pause or break to pack my entire home for a move of 126 miles. Some things I was hesitant about letting them pack but they assured me that they would take excellent care of them from a treasured antique book case all the way down to a ceramic salad bowl which I had carried back all the way from Italy, and a very delicate seashell collection. The crew bought everything to my new home and treated my stuff like gold. The only thing that broke was a ceramic lantern that I had packed and bought down myself because I felt it was too delicate to let some one else pack. I wish I had let them take it because not a single thing that they had packed and moved broke or was damaged. My friend had moved out of state a few years ago and raved about what a great job they did which is why I initially chose Roadway. It's great to see that they have maintained their high level of standards, service and excellence. Thank you Adrian and the entire Roadway moving crew for making moving day a wonderful experience

  Roadway moved me from Los Angeles to Manhattan. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The pickup was from the 3rd floor of a storage facility in LA. The day Roadway arrived, the elevator was broken. They didn't bat an eyelid and simply used the stairs They held my items in storage in NY, and when I was ready to receive, they dropped them off immediately. Mitch and his team were upbeat, helpful and got the job done fast. My stuff was wrapped with the utmost care, and everything made it without so much as a scratch. Lastly, their follow up is very impressive. They called to check in many times before the pickup, as well as to co-ordinate the dropoff. I can't recommend them more highly!

  I recently had the pleasure of using Roadway Moving. Their subway ad campaign caught my eye, especially the headline, “We Know How Fragile You Can Be” which pretty much describes me exactly when it comes to moving. I’ve moved many times but never had such a positive and easy experience with a moving company as I did with Roadway. Previous moves with other companies, some of which were major names in moving, went horribly wrong, with delays, damaged items, months long claims processes, etc. From day one with Roadway, when I met Ruth Sullivan who put my mind at ease about the large amount of fragile items I was moving, to meeting Alex, the foreman of my move, everyone involved in the process was very attentive to my concerns and managed to make what is usually a very stressful experience, very pleasant and easy to dealwith. The crew that packed up and moved my belongings were friendly, courteous, compassionate, highly skilled and amazingly quick. There were no delays, no issues, no problems at all. I am very grateful for the high level of service I received from Roadway and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, prompt, trustworthy, capable and understanding moving company.
