  Unprofessional moving service. I apologize to anyone who used this service before I wrote my review. I was so over the terrible service that I wanted nothing to do with them. If you talk to a guy Jim White, he promises a low price but do not go based on this at all. I definitely fell for this low ball sales service. Do your research and spend more money on another company. This price changes after they come pick up your items once it is too late to get any money back. I had to move from the northeast to Southeast US so this was a long move. They are able to get these low quotes because they they hire out all aspects of the move to a third party. The movers I got were Ocean Movers and Storage and I had multiple items broken due to over packing and rough handling on their truck. They cover themselves by saying you are responsible for anything you pack. I also had hockey sticks go missing that should have been with my equipment but were missing when it was too late to notice. One red flag for Ocean movers is that its cash and money orders only.The delivery was also a week late after Assurance Van Lines quoted me around two weeks delivery. Hopefully this helps anyone out there looking to use either Assurance Van Lines or Ocean Moving and Storage.

  I am 100% satisfied. I was in a jam and my friend recommended Assurance Van Line Services after I told her that I needed a long-distance moving company, and I could not be happier with my decision to move with them. The service was great and the movers were incredibly helpful and friendly. It’s hard for me to lift heavy boxes and furniture, but I did not have to lift a finger — they did everything. And I appreciated that I was kept in the loop during the journey of my belongings, which were delivered to me in perfect condition (I was nervous about possible damages during the move, but all of my things were intact). It made my move so much less stressful, especially since I was moving to another state by myself. And the price was very reasonable, which was the cherry on top of my whole experience. I definitely recommend their services!

  Worst moving experience ever. They lied about every single thing. Luke Moran (their rep)claimed he was a vet. My daughter is a veteran as well. She needed to move asap due to job relocation. After doing what I thought was extensive research, we ran out of options and went with Assurance based on what Luke told us. He promised us that they would do the move themselves, and not outsource it. That was lie #1! He also said our stuff would not go into storage. Lie #2! He promised us a certain delivery date. Lie #3! Two weeks later, our stuff sat in a storage space, and we didn't even know where! After numerous phone calls and broken promised delivery dates, I opted to get my daughter's belongings out of storage and drive it 650 miles myself. This ultimately doubled the cost of the initial quite as I had to rent a truck and pay for over $400 in fuel! On top of all this, the moving company had "lost" a suitcase full of expensive clothes. Somehow this suitcase had disappeared and the moving company would not acknowledge it. My daughter's clothes now belong to someone else! This whole move has affected us so much more than just the cost of the move. It has put tremendous stress among our family. This company should be out of business. We have contacted all local, state, and federal authorities and hope this "company" can be shut down for good. Please do NOT use Assurance Van Lines!

  I used Assurance Van Line Services to move back to Massachusetts from Arizona. It was a last minute move, but I had to move back to be with my family due to a relative having a medical emergency. It was very important for me to be able to take everything with me. I called Assurance and planned out the details of the move. The woman I spoke to was very helpful and understanding. When the movers came to empty out my apartment, they were very kind and took great care of my stuff. The move went as planned from start to finish, and I had no problems with Assurance Van Line Services at all!

  Assurance is awesome! I really needed some help with my recent move so I decided to do some research. I found Assurance and gave. They were super helpful and very friendly. They gave me a quote right over the phone and made things really easy for me. They showed up on time and moved everything quickly. I was very impressed with how carefully they handled all of my belongings. They knew exactly what to do and made everything simple. Great job!
