    I sat here and watched Mr. R Steven Legall himself raise his voice at my grieving family, he was rude, impatient and insensitive to my family. He constantly rolled his eyes and treated my family like children, answering questions with aggression and an unprofessional attitude. He literally wrote up a bill and had my stepgrandfather sign it without even telling him what he was signing or mentioning the complete total. When I mentioned it, he got aggressive and impatient AGAIN, and upon my mother mentioning his unprofessional attitude he litterally got up and left the table. LET ALONE we were told the chapels would hold 300 people but the fire department placard stated 200, he got an attitude when I mentioned it. In addition, when viewing the rooms there were two freshly embalmed bodies in one of the rooms, which is completely disrespectful to their families. everyone else we worked with was a gem, I didn't feel right continuing our services with him especially since its his name on the buisness. he did not build his brand professionally.

    I used the florist they recommended, "Daria's Floral Creations," to send flowers to a colleagues' funeral. Daria reassured me she would send me a picture of the arrangements, which she did not! And, I had to call numerous times, (more than four times), to request a receipt for the flowers. So far, I have not received my receipt for our business records. The lack of accountability to customers is unacceptable. I will NEVER do business with this funeral parlor nor florist ever again.

    If I could give Steven Legall 0 or minus 1 stars I would. He is unprofessional and a liar on top. He insisted on full payment before hand and when we paid and filled out all the forms he gave us, he said that all was complete and we should get my sister's ashes in 2 days. The following day he says we have another form to sign and insisted there's an additional fee to pay to change the date of cremation. He then went on to say we were being uncooperative when we refused to pay extra. Why on earth should we pay for this man's incompetence? We told the office we would come in the next day. My brother went in the following day and was told he had procrastinated in coming in. Coming in as arranged is not procrastinating. Mr Legall ducked our calls until the following week leaving false accusations and incorrect accounts of conversations with his staff. Upsetting our entire family in the process. It took him an entire week to finally admit to his error in not giving us the correct forms to complete and sign. He tried to claim it was not about the money, despite the fact that he insisted over and over that we had to pay this extra charge. When a family member dies the last thing you need is an incompetent, insensitive person dealing with your loved ones remains. Go somewhere else and find someone who can treat you with respect and common decency. After looking around on the Internet I also found their services are over priced on top of being bad.

    I referred many family members and friends to Steven Legall. I also entrusted him with my grandmother's service for which he did a wonderful job. He also did a superb job with shipping her body back home to Barbados. Mr. Legall and his staff takes care for you like family. They are caring , sensitive and very understanding. I nor any one that I referred was disappointment. I highly recommend Legall Funeral Home for all of your burial needs.

    I felt the male representative that my family worked with was insensitive. His concern seemed to be about getting paid and provided no comfort to us.
