  Punter's is the perfect place for secret society meetings. It feels like you're trespassing by just opening the door but I can assure you that it's open! It's almost always empty and it's cash only but that's what makes it one of Boston's last hidden-in-plain-site gems. Don't expect fancy drinks.

  We went when it was slow, 7pm on a Tuesday. The bartender was super sweet though!

  Most rigid furniture ever! High quality taps! If the door is locked, it's a speakeasy. Beautiful neighborhood, close to MFA. And a music box!!

  this place is great. fast serves, nice staff and cheep drinks. from what i usually get beers are 3.5-5 dollars depending on the brand i.e.coors- 3.5 sam -5 shots are 6 mixed is 9 depending on the complexity this is a great college bar next to a pizza shop with cheap food.. NOTE; the window to the shop has since been closed off.

  This place is an iconic pincturest landmark of Boston. I always recommend new people in town to visit Paul Revere’s house, and finish their day at Punter’s Pub. This place is certainly nothing fancy; in fact, the bathroom is always puked and nasty, the place stings to old beer and the owner is always grumpy. However, the atmosphere filled with cheap beer and friendly camaraderie incite everyone to play a good song in their jukebox while drink heavily and very cheaply. So in the end, having a good night with less than 30 bugs (in Boston) it’s nothing but a win! I do recommend it.
