  I have never witnessed so much hospitality in my life. We came by Pizza La Stella later in the evening after leaving the Red Hat, very convenient walk from the venue. Tyler, our server, the bartender, and the chef (whose names I didn’t get) made my friend’s birthday truly a memorable and special experience for us all. It was such a wonderful gift that rounded out the evening. The food was quality, service was fast and exquisite. Tyler is an excellent server who goes above and beyond for his guests. He was very respectful of my dairy allergy, and was accurate and punctual. An absolute gem. As a manager of a busy Asheville restaurant, I have high expectations of service staff: Tyler well exceeded my expectations. I hope he is recognized for his salesmanship and work ethic.

  My friends and I went to Pizza La Stella for a trivia night. We ordereda good amount of food and drinks. Everything was great! The service was a little slow but it was a very, very busy night so I don't hold that against them. The manager was especially accommodating and helped get us get seated even thought we didn't have a reservation for the night. We sat upstairs which I recommend. It was almost like having a private dining area, and there is a separate bar upstairs. It was a fun night, and I look forward to returning!

  La Stella is hard place for me to review. As a restaurant it's fine, pizza is wood fired and really good. Bar hops and draft selection 12 wide and rotating, so all good. But I cant forget the history of this place. Literally a Million Dollars plus to remodel an old bank into a high end restaurant - just 10 years ago, and now its a trendy bistro? It's weird for me to see all the same elements that screamed wealth now still there whispering "Icarus".

  My coworkers and I love this place we come at least once a week. I have had their classic cheese pizza,chicken pizza and their garlic parmesan wings delicious!! (Not all at the same time of course) :) Their should be a members reward card or something to that nature. When you go ask for Teresa she is great!

  I'm a weirdo who ordered take-out at Pizza La Stella. When I walked in I realized my mistake, but the staff were super accommodating to my strange request for carryout pizza (Just go to Dominoes, dude). I really enjoyed the flavor combos and fresh ingredients on the pizza. The crust was this pizza's downfall, however. Chewy and bland enough to make me toss the remnants in the bin. Perhaps it was a product of the travel time. I'll find out next time I go back...seated.
