It's the old newspaper building converted to a restaurant and craft beer spot in downtown. We were visiting Raleigh and stopped by early evening. This is a big space. They have a rooftop terrace that is really nice with good servers. A little more snooty crowd than I prefer but worth checking out if you're in town for a day or two.

The role of times it's an iconic restaurant in Raleigh downtown. I like that I like that feeling of the building unfortunately the food is not very well prepared. A lot of times the food comes out cold the confession of the food is not the best lack of seasoning too much and raise it like they are proud to serve bad food and say this is typical of American restaurants not good enough for me. The service well the trying to be really nice to you but take too long just to get your check. Drinks at the bar it's normally very busy so I kind of understand that they want to drink another one but it's the same way when the bar is empty so this kind of attitude in the bartender makes it not a nice place and inviting place to have a drink and a conversation.

First time ever trying this place and have to say I'm hooked!! Neat nostalgic interior, amazing food, service was superb(even with us having a group of almost 30 people) , reasonably priced, and all around great atmosphere. Highly recommend you give this place a try!!

Absolutely wonderful experience, all the way around. Came for a long-overdue date night with my wife and we were thoroughly impressed with everything from the food to the atmosphere to the staff. The manager and hostesses couldn't have been nicer or more helpful or more accommodating. The "browse for a place to sit" thing is neat--as is the rooftop deck-- and the local beer menu is not to be missed. We'll be back, for sure.
