Pancake Pantry ended up being over hyped and not able to deliver. Everyone said this place was amazing. The line was long - we ended up sitting at a table with some other people to get in quicker. Ordered original and sweet potato pancakes and neither were the best pancake we'd ever had - maybe not even top 5. Not sure if it was an off day for them, or if we really just didn't enjoy their pancakes as much as other places. Service was good.

We waited a long time... the line moves quickly! Maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but our meal was not amazing. Good, but not incredible buttermilk pancakes and an omelet that just had the ingredients (spinach & cheddar) piled on top instead of cooked into it. The super decadent pancake options looked more impressive and maybe would have been a better choice.

I'm super picky about crepes. But these crepes were amazing. Had sausage patties (they also have links), and eggs on the side. It was incredibly delicious. There's a reason this place has been around 50+ years. This is nothing against the place, but just so you are aware. It can be hard to find a spot sometimes. There's a parking lot behind the building. But that can get full quick. If you can't find a spot there, you can probably find a spot on the street.

The food here was pretty good. I wasn't blown away, but it was definitely tasty. I liked the atmosphere here though. It felt like I was my grandma's house. If my grandma was southern and made delicious southern food.

Don't be scared by the line! It moves at a decent pace & the food is MORE than worth it! We are from St. Louis and this is the one place we HAVE to go to every trip to Nashville. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, taste is phenomenal and it is more than enough food at a good price. Friendly, attentive service. All in all, a place not to be skipped!
