::Went on a Saturday night. ONYX Needs a better DJ he sucked bad. He was stuck in the year 2000-2006. He didn't know what reggea was he played Drake lol. Your not a real DJ unless you know music. He was stuck at old hip hop. Nothing wrong with it but definitely he doesnt know to mix up his music. Drinks overpriced. I think ill pass on this place not that great.

::This used to be one of my favorite bars to hit on a Saturday night with my friends up until last Saturday March 24 ,2018 . I felt upset because as we were about to enter we show our identification cards , as always and so my boyfriend takes out his passport . The guard at the door checks all our cards and then proceeds to tell my boyfriend" sorry bro , we don't accept Mexican passports anymore they have to be U.S. passports " with No further explanation as to why they had to be U.S passports . Downtown LA is a tourist location and im sure there is plenty of tourist from different parts of the world just trying to have a fun night . I was in shock and felt like my boyfriend was being discriminated against for being Mexican . We've been to different locations including Vegas and we've never encountered such a problem until now . My friends and I have decided not to attend this bar anymore

::Bartenders for a bar can put the bang in the boom or simply ruin the whole experience. After standing at the bar with just a sprinkle of patrons, I was feeling INVISIBLE in my off the shoulder red mini-dress *smirk*, the owner who was helping to slang drinks, finally noticed us standing there and took our drink order. I'm guessing the other bartender was a relative and favor to employ family. He had no patron management skills nor personality. However, the owner's mixing skills were top notch. The music put a bounce to our booties - lol and it became really packed. The Carne Cheese Fries - major fail with it "chew and spit" meat. No dance floor to be seen, but if you just want to be seen, you can do it here. Second time back, but I will not let peer pressure make it a third. (Great spot for millennials)
