We go here as much as we can... especially for special occasions. Our favorite indulgence is the king crab. It never disappoints. It is prepared and cut to make access easy. The beignets are the best this side of Louisiana.

I've been going there since they first opened and I really loved the food at first. Today I ordered the grill plate as usual. They used to season the shrimp with garlic cream sauce but for the second time it was dry without any flavor at all. It tasted as if it was not freshly made. The vegetables used to have the sauce drizzled on them to but this time they had no flavor at all either. The fried banana was still good though. I doubt I will ever return.

As much as I like Cajun spices and seafood, this location isn't comparable to other locations that sell the same items. Overall there was nothing wrong with service. As far as their food goes, I ordered a pound of shrimp with all three sauces. At times I would just have a heavy pepper or garlic taste in my mouth. I do like the fact I can easily add on 6 pieces of sausage, rather than ordering by the pound. They also have a nice selection of drinks other than your typical fountain drinks. I ordered beignets and they were very "cakey" rather than fluffy. I'm not sure what they call the thing they bring out at the end of the meal, but it just leaves your hands feeling sticky. Does it look fun and photoworthy? Yes, but just wash your hands. There was no point to it.

So I found this place by accident. You canโ€™t tell much from the outside but saw a few people wondering in so I gave it a chance. Itโ€™s a simple little restaurant that seems to cater to locals and regulars. They thanked me for choosing them while I was in town. Friendly staff. So Whatโ€™s important. The food was very good. I had the lunch special. Shrimp sandwich and a cup of gumbo. Fair price for a very good lunch. I will be back.

Really good food, drinks and great service. They're very attentive and accommodating. Hip place, and for the whole family. Some menu items better than others but overall good. Always packed so some choose takeout. Cool vibe with different Tv's, music in the background.
