::Dr. Okun is currently treating my 8 year old son with a palatal expander as well as top and bottom braces. Keeping an active 8 year old still for orthodontic work is not easy... but Dr. Okun has an uncanny ability to engage and make my son an active participate in his treatment! With this understanding, my son has developed a great sense of responsibility in regard to taking care of his oral health. ::We highly recommend Dr Okun. She is very knowledgeable. She is clear about the options that you have, the costs associated with each and also how your insurance fits into the picture. At each steps she explains the progress and clearly describes why things are moving the way they are. She also makes our daughter feel at ease and communicates clearly with her. This way she know what is expected and what her responsibilities are. Our daughter (now almost 12) started treatment 2 years ago and is almost done, My husband just had his braces removed and couldn't be happier. He was very pleased with Saturday and Sunday appointment opportunities. Our youngest (8 years old) has just started on his path with braces and also feels at ease with Dr Okun. Our other son will follow shortly (10 years old) and I am getting her professional opinion for a possible night guard for myself. It is rare that Dr. Okun is not running on schedule and she is flexible and accommodating when braces or retainers need an emergency check-up.
