  Dr. Okun has been treating my son, and throughout his entire treatment, I have been astonished by her work. As a dental hygienist, I have seen many orthodontic cases throughout my career and no other treatments have come close to the meticulous work of Dr. Okun ! From the beginning of the treatment she was extremely thorough with not only me, but she made sure my son understood the process of having braces and the treatment involved. She does not miss a single detail when it comes to her diagnosis and treatment. The results are just great ! Dr. Okun is absolutely outstanding ! She is an asset to the dental profession; I give her my HIGHEST recommendation.

  Dr. Okun is currently treating my 8 year old son with a palatal expander as well as top and bottom braces. Keeping an active 8 year old still for orthodontic work is not easy... but Dr. Okun has an uncanny ability to engage and make my son an active participate in his treatment! She is not only kind and patient but openly invites and answers my son's may questions. With this understanding, my son has developed a great sense of responsibility in regard to taking care of his oral health. Because he fully understands the importance, I'm not chasing him around to brush his teeth or use his water pick! It's wonderful! During the consultation phase, Dr. Okun thoroughly explains the diagnosis, treatment plan and financial obligation. As you can see, I high recommend Dr. Okun for your orthodontic needs.

  We highly recommend Dr Okun. She is very knowledgeable. She is clear about the options that you have, the costs associated with each and also how your insurance fits into the picture. At each steps she explains the progress and clearly describes why things are moving the way they are. She also makes our daughter feel at ease and communicates clearly with her. This way she know what is expected and what her responsibilities are. Our daughter (now almost 12) started treatment 2 years ago and is almost done, My husband just had his braces removed and couldn't be happier. He was very pleased with Saturday and Sunday appointment opportunities. Our youngest (8 years old) has just started on his path with braces and also feels at ease with Dr Okun. Our other son will follow shortly (10 years old) and I am getting her professional opinion for a possible night guard for myself. It is rare that Dr. Okun is not running on schedule and she is flexible and accommodating when braces or retainers need an emergency check-up. Dr. Okun is definitely our family's tooth and jaw engineer and wizard!

  The staff was incredible with my daughter when she got her braces. They talked my daughter through every single step of the process and made her feel at ease. Her smile is truly amazing. She has been getting so many compliments since her teeth have been moving. We have been sure to recommend Dr. Okun to others as well, who have also been thrilled with the results and the overall experience.
