  I have to say, this place is a hidden jewel. One of Houston's only Custom designers thus-far. Very professional, beautiful studio. I absolutely fell in love with the whole concept of creating my perfect custom dress. I'm getting married in August and im already infatuated with the visual ideas collaborated with the fabrics...EVERYTHING! Im so excited and very pleased with my decision of choosing Obrigada!

  I've had the pleasure of having the most fabulous wedding gown made by the talented Lezlie Brianna and I must say, WOW!! Exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with Obrigada custom bridal designs! I would most definitely recommend. Thank you for the experience!

  I attended the fashion show last weekend & not only did it start 2.5 hours late, but the quality of the dresses were VERY disappointening to say the least. Seams were unfinished & uneven, zippers were crooked & unaligned, fabric was not cut on grain, seams were not proberly sewn, backs of dresses were pinned together with safety pins & pins, and dresses were not fitted to models. If you are presenting your dresses to the public, basic standard is to have them 1) finished 2) fit to each model & 3) Sewn properly. Normally I would not write this negative of a review after an experience like this, but I want to warn all brides when selecting Obridga to make your wedding dress. My experience as a guest was far beyond bad on all levels of professionalism, quality & respect. I would hate to for someone to walk down the aisle with a dress like the ones that I saw at the fashion show.

  We attended the bridal fashion show on Saturday 9/16. It was by far the worst and most unprofessional event I've ever attended. The show was supposed to start "promptly" at 7:30pm as quoted on the invitation, the show started 2.5 hours later at 10pm. I arrived, no one there to greet me at the door...annoying when the whole time we would get e-mails (lots) on the importance that we needed to have the QRV code to be able to get into the event. Well I was able to walk right in. They were still setting up chairs when I got there and 30 minutes later decide to change the chairs and re-arranged them when most people were already sitting. Time kept passing by and no one was making an announcement that the show was running late. At around 9pm we went outside to walk around and to our surprise the greeting table was there, yay!. The girl (very nice) then asked if we wanted to be checked in to make it more formal even though she knew we were already there. 2 hours later, that e-mail I saved with the QRV code was all worth it and I actually enjoyed getting it scanned at that point. We went back inside at around 9:45pm and some people, obviously, had started to leave. We didn't leave only because we knew someone involved in the show and could not let her down on her big night. Guess what, show started at 10-10:15pm. For a moment I got that tingly, excited feeling and I thought to myself okay this will all be worth the wait!! The dresses started coming and from far away they looked so promising but once they were closed up, it was sad to say they were not even half way finished. Not only that, but they weren't even fitted for the models wearing them and it was really obvious. It seemed as if the dresses had been fitted at the last minute when the models were about to walk out. Some dresses had knots at the bottom, torn pieces of fabric dragging on the sides, one had a sweetheart cut? one side was a seamless/nice cut and the other looked like time was running out and they just needed to sew it together quickly. The silk fabrics weren't even steamed. One of the dresses was falling as the model was walking on the runway, poor girl. Anyway, only like 8-9 dresses made it and not 1 was ready. Just a tip of advice, it would have been better if you had canceled the show and took the time to focus on the dresses and actually have them ready. I don't think there was 1 person at the show that night that would have bought a dress. Especially when you wasted 2.5 hours of our time. How does that reflect on the way you do business? do you think people could trust you to make a dress? Anyway, food for thought.
