Awesome place, guaranteed to catch a live show any night of the week. Good drinks, they even have some specific to Detroit, good date night for sure, I've had good times here

I came here once before and despite it not being very busy we sat at the bar for ten minutes without being acknowledged and left. Decided to give it another shot tonight, and have been sitting here for ten minutes again, not being acknowledged. Yeah I am not coming back here. Don't waste your time if you actually want to have a drink.

If you have a gluten sensitivity, do not come here. Shocking level of ignorance on the part of staff including kitchen staff as to what gluten is. At this day and age it should be basic comprehension to work in the food industry. I asked if their super think balsamic vinaigrette is thickened with flour. The bartender responded, "I don't know. There is no bread in it. I don't know the recipe." Really disappointed. The music is good.

The location is great and so was our server, However the Fish & Chips were disappointing. I’ve visited before and loved them so I returned this evening with guest. Consistency is essential when I choose a local hot spot. Food should Always reflect the appearance, taste and value of cost each and every time it’s served. It’s a No for me from now on for anything except a cocktail.

I've been working in the neighborhood for over 25 years. They business spot has stood the worse of times, now in Detroit's growing new birth of surrounding business. Like any business as such, it is hard to keep good workers, because of the competition. As far as bad workers, they can cause problems and you have to weed them out. Northern Lights is a good business that thrive to competed, yet never losing their originality. That's what I like about it. I expect no better and no worse, and if by chance it's either day for me, I can always come back and get the better day I desire. I give the business a 4 in rating. I would give it a 5 if their menu honoring Vegan lovers.
