Probably the best pizza that you can get from somewhere that's accessible in Berkeley. I love that they have the staple pizza by the slices and also rotating sell-by-slice flavors as well: it's like the slice shops of NYC met the Sliver/Cheeseboard-style specific slices as well. Sourdough crust definitely makes for a crunchier, better texture compared to your average Berkeley slice. Interesting selection of baked goods as well! Super efficient service, feels like there's more of a personal touch to pizza at a reasonable price too!

Every pizza I’ve had at nicks is amazing and I love the creative ones he rotates out seasonally. But seriously don’t overlook the pastries, especially the scones!!! So freaking good and those rotate seasonally too I especially love their vegetarian options The staff is always so friendly and I appreciate that everyone still wear masks and they have free ones for when I NEED pizza and forget mine 😂 and they pay employees to stay home when they’re sick which should be the standard in food service… They also do a lot of community outreach and events Our family looooves Nicks pizza and are so happy to have them in the community!

Nice local pizza joint with full pizzas or by-the-slice options. We ordered pepperoni, corn & pasilla, and the roasted roma pizza by the slice. Great flavors in both the toppings and the crust, but a little too greasy for my liking. Next time I’ll order a whole pizza fresh from the oven, but crust lovers will enjoy this spot.

A solid pizza pizza place, at a crowded intersection. I've only ever had a slice or two at any given time, but from those experiences I have to say, I'm impressed. If I was hanging out with friends, I would immediately suggest we have lunch at Nick's. I will continue to be a regular customer, and continue to support them, as you should.

Pizza and salad to go! Rain can't stop us. The combo pizza was a hit and the sourdough crust was 10/10. Ceasar salad with the house made croutons were great too. I'd come back to try more.
