Lady in front desk at first came pff rude but she lightened up after a minute but over the phone she sounds like she hates her job. My room was weird the bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom and bedroom was small but nothing really bad. Get what you pay for....looks like a super ghetto area though little scary.

I've been staying here for at least 10 years every time I come to Tucson. It's been my home away from home. I've put up with the filthy poop covered areas around the motel, which do not appear to ever be picked up. I do it because i have a dog. She won't even poop here - it's too dirty for her. I have to walk her down the road . I pick up after my dog. Apparently the low life's that stay here don't. The wifi often hasn't worked. Still, it's in the right area for me, and I used to enjoy eating my inexpensive microwavable dinner in my room as the employees were kind enough to microwave it on their microwave, as there are no microwaves in the rooms. Tonight I was told that the policy has changed - they won't do it for me now. The microwave is there , she wasn't busy with people in the office, but would not do it for me. New policy. Now I have a new policy - I'll be going somewhere else. This Motel 6 just lost a good customer of many years.

The staff is awesome! Our room was very clean and nice. This location takes great pride in their property and as a guest, it is much appreciated!

We stay at Motel 6 frequently on road trips because we travel with 2 dogs, and each Motel 6 has been consistent accepting them and the rules. We have stayed at this Motel 6 before and along with many others we know what to expect. Some are better than others, but we get what we want/need. We have never had a bad experience or service with front desk staff. Unfortunately I didn't get her name, but she was extremely helpful and pleasant with a few minor key glitches etc. at this Tucson Congress location 3/21/18. Nothing serious at all and she did everything she could to help and correct. She was a perfect front desk person that can make or break a repeat customer sale.

TL;DR-They messed up my reservation when I got to the hotel and were quite difficult to work with so I left. They do have awesome hold music though. I reserved a room last night, was giving all the information and then sent a conformation number. I drove 6 hours from San Diego to Tucson, arrived at the hotel only for the girl at the front desk to tell me I didn't have a reservation. On top of that the place looked dirty and sketchy, some lady pacing at the front desk looked like a druggy. Anyway the girl tells me to call the reservation number, so she writes it down for me and I call them. They put me on hold for a minute and then say, yes I of course have a reservation and that they would fax over a copy of the confirmation to the front desk. I thanks the woman and hung up and then told the girl at the desk they were faxing it. She then tells me that I should have let HER talk to them. Why would she tell me to call them in the first place if she needed to talk to them??? I really don't think the girl was trying to be difficult, she was stressed and doing her best, but she certainly wasn't making it easy for me. So she calls the customer service place back about my reservation and finds out that they had a totally different confirmation number than the one I had been given. At this point it was such a mess I had no desire to stay there so I asked them to cancel the reservation and refund my money (which had been withdrawn from my account and was showing in my transactions). The man on the phone said, no you weren't billed because they do not bill until check in. I said I'd gladly send them a screenshot of my transaction on my card account. After he refused to help me I said I was going to go somewhere else, but I'd be calling back to talk with a supervisor or someone who could actually help me. The girl at the desk canceled the reservation (the one with a completely different confirmation number) and gave me the receipt for that. I went out to my car and logged into my bank account to screenshot the transaction, but it was gone and the money was back on my card. So I got refunded which is nice, but either way, I HAD been charged before check in as I saw the transaction appear earlier this morning shortly after I had left San Diego. I had chosen this hotel since it had decent ratings on google, but I can't imagine why. Maybe I just happened to get stuck at a bad time, but I don't think I'm going to bother with Motel 6 anymore. The hold music and spokesperson while I was waiting to make a reservation last night was absolutely amazing. Most entertaining hold I've ever been on.
