Note: This review has nothing to do with Dr. Zager. I’ve never been a patient of his or seen him. It’s actually for Dr Mohammed Qaisi, who I guess practices here when he isn’t at Illinois Masonic’s dental office. I had called needing a consult for a broken wisdom tooth, and because of health complications, my cardiologist suggested I look into the dentists and oral surgeons that work through the same hospital. So I called the number to IL Masonic’s dental office, they told me he wasn’t available but that I could see him at this office. Scheduled me for a 3pm appointment on a Friday. Went in to see him at this location, the receptionist had no idea about my appointment. She said he hasn’t been seeing patients there long, so there may have been a mixup. But she told me to fill out paperwork and have a seat, ran my insurance, etc. I sat there for an hour and a half before she told me they had double booked him and he was in surgery, and this was AFTER I asked. She wasn’t planning on telling me apparently - just let me wait the two hours it took to see him. Anyway, when I finally saw him, bedside manner was just okay. He seemed inconvenienced by my anxiety and stress and obviously wanted to go home. He rushed through a consult, told me that I would need 18,000 dollars worth of work done (in an operating room at IL Masonic) and sent me on my way. If I wanted my wisdom tooth out, it would be 650 plus whatever nitrous oxide cost. Then he told me to go sit with the receptionist to figure out next steps and left the office for the night. They did come up with a care plan, which by the way, a second opinion at a different office estimated about 10K worth of work + it’s all able to be done in office. I was told I’d be contacted by his other office after they ran my insurance, and I never heard back. Funny enough, I heard back from this office when I was on the way to get my wisdom tooth removed somewhere else. TLDR: don’t see Dr. Qaisi here. I cant speak for how he is at another location, but I’d also recommend getting your front office figured out. I was sent a bill from this office for 120 dollars after waiting TWO HOURS for my consult and I’ll be writing an email about why I’m not paying it and how the receptionist at the front desk is completely unprofessional.

I needed three dental implants. My dentist recommended Dr. Zager as the person he would go to. Everything went great. Dr. Zager could not have been more professional or considerate. The entire experience was top quality. Thank you Dr. Zager and your staff. John G

My experience was absolutely fantastic! I was so concerned before meeting Dr. Zager. Frankly speaking, I had a lot of trouble finding a dental office to help remove my wisdom tooth. This dental office just saved me from all those troubles. The faculties in the office are so friendly and caring. Dr. Zager is so proficient! I highly recommend people with difficulty with teeth come to this place. I would definitely go back there after recovering from the recent tooth extraction.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Zager and his staff at Millennium Park Oral Surgery! I must stress that I am terrified of dental pain, yet I had all 4 wisdom teeth – some impacted – removed in one take with Dr. Zager. Before the surgery, the staff carefully explained all the options to me, and I chose IV sedation to relieve my great deal of anxiety. The procedure lasted about 45 minutes and I did not feel a thing until the anesthesia wore off. The post-surgery pain and swelling were bearable. I followed the post-surgical instructions and almost healed completely within a week. When I came back for checkup, Dr. Zager answered all my questions and gave me helpful tips about food, exercises, work schedules, etc. for a speedy recovery. He was professional, patient, kind, and funny! Throughout all the appointments, not only Dr. Zager but his staff were also always present and attentive in the room to take care of me. Although it was a one-time experience, I am confident to say this is the best team if you want your wisdom teeth removed! Finally, I want to stress that wisdom teeth removal is serious surgery. I know that everybody is different – people react to pain differently and heal differently. I strongly encourage you to do your research, understand the procedures, and know your part of the recovery process. If you are a female patient and are asked about any birth control methods, it is because post-surgery antibiotics prescribed to you might reduce the effectiveness of such method, not because the team wants to ask you an inappropriate question for fun. If you have a successful surgery with Dr. Zager but eat crunchy hard food the next 3 days, bleeding and other complications are reasonably expected. Do your research, follow the instructions well, take good care of yourself, and you will have a great experience!

Came here to extract all 4 wisdom teeth in one go. The procedure was smooth and painless. I picked the local anesthesia with laughing gas option, but they can also put you to sleep. Dr.Zager and his staff are very friendly, professional, and caring. I highly recommend coming here. :) 10/10
