  the library hours for the day were 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. When we went over at 5:00, the library was closed. It was literally closed 1 hour before it was supposed to

  Great library. My wife thinks the interior is a bit run down, but I never would have noticed (I guess they are renovating next year). Friendly staff. There are amazing children's programs for my young daughter. My daughter LOVES it there and feels very "at home." I'm happy this is my local library.

  It's pretty big, the first floor for adults and the 2nd for kids. They have events in the summer for children in a separate room in the 2nd floor. There is an elevator for strollers.

  I love books, and the Brooklyn Public Library system has an enormous collection. Libraries are having their budgets cut, yet you wouldn't be able to tell from the amenities offered by the BPL. They are amazing!
