  Very unkept place . When you want work from your laptop you find that 90 % plugins broken and very few working is occupied. Personal not maintain library environment lot of noisy disturbing people in. Do not see this in any other branch. For sure worse branch in bpl

  It's a good place to read books. It's very quiet. And there are many free events here.

  I love the library and have basically spent my childhood there. I often take my sister there to borrow new books to read and such. However, the last two times I've gone, there has been mistakes made regarding checking in the books I returned that visit, where one book would still be marked checked out even though I had just placed it in the return basket. The first time it happened, I called the library because I found out when I got home. The lady on the phone was very nice about it and we had the problem solved in no time. However, I went there today and it happened again. I finished checking out the books I wanted to borrow but the screen changed before I could print a receipt, so I went online to check my list of checked out books. Lo and behold, a book I returned was still in my checked out list. I was still in the library at the time so I went to ask a librarian about it. She simply told me to go home and continued to chat with another librarian. Thankfully, I was able to resolve the problem when I got home and chatted online with a librarian named Kate and she was extremely kind and helpful! Sadly, I don't think I'll be coming back to this particular branch very soon. I hope they can work out these issues and look towards a brighter year. Until then, I'll just have to start visiting the New Utrecht Branch or the Central Branch.

  One of the better local branches in the system -- no bums, fairly spacious, decent interiors.

  The outside look can be deceiving It's quite tidy inside. The adult literature, books and computers are on the first floor, and the children's books, literature, restrooms and computers are on the second floor. Available Outlets are short compared to demand. The reservation station is to the right of the help desk, near the LaserJet printer. Nearby Transit: (about a seven minute walk) the 18th Av (N) station. The B8 and B9 buses intersect at the curb.
