  The Memphis zoo is one of the top zoos in the country. It was $15 each to get in, but it is worth it if you make a day out of it. The parking was $5. They have zoo memberships that are great if you like to visit frequently. They allow you to bring in food/coolers so you can picnic there or eat at their restaurant. Check their website for restrictions. The day we went was a great weather day. It was not too hot and most the animals were quite active.

  Came to the zoo yesterday. Love the zoo. The animal and scenery is what gets the 4 stars. The reason I only put 5 stars is because we sat to eat lunch. We decided to eat at Ray's The service was not all that friendly and definitely not organized! The food was burnt. Waited forever for the food and not.only didn't it taste burnt it was hard and tasted as if it had been sitting forever. Instead of picking the order up at the same.window we ordered we had to walk through lines to her to them...tight fit... definitely need to work on employees. Love love the zoo

  Great zoo! So much to see and do! You will definitely need to plan spending a large part of your day here if you would like to see all of the exhibits. The price of admission is not too bad. My family of four got in for $50. When we visited they had a special Ripley's Believe it, or Not exhibition broken into different segments scattered about the park. Very fun and educational!

  We love love LOVE this place! Never a dull moment. There is always something fun to do. Highly recommend getting a membership. It's worth every penny! Great place to spend some good old fashion family time 😍

  Good zoo, the best within 300 mile radius. The baby macaque is adorable! The baby hippo is a true joy! Great hippo exhibit. Some exhibits seem especially small---like the cheetah exhibit that says they love to run and it just has enough space to briskly pace. The zookeepers are friendly and informative.
