  The best restaurant to eat at in the Carmel area. Extremely polite employees & their prices are very fair! My dad & I were treated like family - thank you MCL.

  Food was cold had to be sent back to reheat. Older male manager was loudly discussing HR issues with other employees. Talked about the company issues with new menus and online ordering all in front of customers sitting directly in front of him and other employees. How he had to fire some one and accused another employee, not there, of stealing from the cash register. Completely unprofessional and cringe worthy. We left, too uncomfortable to bare witness to this kind of display. Clearly no one to bring our concerns to as the manager was the issue.

  We love going to MCL. The food is so good there. It is just really good down home cookin'. I just tried the double crust chicken pot pie. Yum! The have quite a variety of salads and desserts. Each day they have a blue plate special. And they also have several entrees to choose from that include a meat and two sides. Or you can choose a vegie plate if you're not into meat. And the portions are really good, too. They don't scrimp. The atmosphere is nice. And the waitresses really work to meet all your needs. So if you are in need of some good down home cookin', stop on in.

  I've never been here until today. Drove all the way from Kokomo just to try it. It was awesome! I had the Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, and the zucchini and squash. My Mother got the Roast Beef Manhattan. Both meals were delicious! Highly recommended place if you want home cooked food. We will be back!!

  We always like going to MCL. The service is always friendly. The menu has just about anything you could want so it's great for bringing kids. The food is always good. Lastly the prices are very affordable. It's all around a good value restaurant.
