For the most part, I enjoyed my stay. Minor complaints include the view from my room (a wall) and the slow to cool a/c, but the bed was comfortable, the room and all linens were clean, and the staff friendly. The room did cool, but required running the fan on high at the lowest temperature consistently. I turned it off on occasion (it's rather loud), but the room was never uncomfortable. The location is great, within walking distance of almost everything you'd want to see. It's a historic hotel and the lobby and facade reflects that - I would stay here again, however I might request a room on a higher floor to potentially have a better view.

The Mayflower has always been a favorite place to meet for drinks when downtown. The bar has great atmosphere and delicious food. It is a laid back place and the servers are very friendly and make good suggestions for those of us who are not cocktail savvy. It has been a favorite of mine since the 80's. That says a lot about how on top of the social science they still are. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I have to say this hotel is a absolutely amazing! It all started with the bell boy Joe I believe. My sister has the room and he took our car and our bags! 😮 That blew use away. He was super friendly and upbeat. The rooms were very nice and the prompt rooms service was great. Way to go Mayflower . I felt like it was worth the stay and worth the money!

Extremely helpful and polite staff with all amenities one could hope for. The room I stayed in was much more basic than the photos, but if you're looking for a great relaxing place to stay this is the one. The lounge serves great craft cocktails and the restaurant has excellent food, albeit at a price.
