  Mavericks will be getting shut down soon and that’s a fact. The manager and security gaurd threw my brother down 2 flights of stairs and continued to beat him up until he was unconscious. My brother now has brain damage. This was all because they agreed that a table would be $150 and when it was time to pay, they changed the price to $650. At no point did my brother become physical and he was respectful the whole time and was just trying to figure the situation out without being taken advantage of. These horrendous people WILL end up in jail for almost killing my brother.

  I come here for the shows. But honestly out of like 20 shows I’ve seen here, I think I’ve only seen 2 good ones. Could be the bands fault, could be the venue. Who knows. I also think it’s lame that they advertise Jack Daniels, but only carry bottom-shelf liquor, at least from what I’ve seen. Anytime I’ve tried to order Jack, they don’t have it. The bathrooms are gross. I also heard something about Mavericks being behind in rent and possibly closing soon. That might just be a rumor, but it wouldn’t surprise me. Edit: it’s been a few months. They still suck but haven’t closed yet. Maybe the rumors were false, who knows. Quality hasn’t gotten a whole lot better. At the second to last show I went to (fortunate youth), they ran out of bud light, and the last show (all time low) they ran out of redbull. This was pretty early into the night. The good thing is there’s a couple awesome bartenders. I still continue to go, as this is the only venue some of the smaller bands will come to, but I really hope Mavericks gets a grip.

  Discrimination against a disabled person! Being a person who is disabled, I have to say out of all the venues I have been to for concerts this was by far the ABSOLUTE worst!!! Even though I have a form filled out by my Dr stating that I have a total disability they treated me as though I was just trying to use my disability as a way to get close to the stage, and said as much when all I asked for was a chair. The person that was supposedly helping me put me in the worst possible position so I could see NONE of the stage, not one bit of it, not even a corner. Seeing as how I not only paid to see the concert as everyone else did, this was very unfair. I am on a fixed income so it wasn’t something that I can easily afford, not to mention we had to travel a little over 2 hours to get there. I’ll tell you, I’m not a young kid so it wasn’t as important to me, but did have my daughter with me, so she could not see any of the concert either. Any and everyone I know or that I even talk to (which is A LOT of people) will know what a disgrace this place is to disabled people.

  If u like, bull riding, country music, and or live country concerts, with basic beer. This is the place for u. Also line dancing. Obviously I'm not a fan of any of these things. But to each his own. Have fun.

  Really enjoyed the Cannibal Corpse show in 2017. It was my first time there and it was a great time. Just be aware that you cannot have a wallet chain, as they consider it a weapon. The doorman made me pay to get mine back.
