::Oh my goodness! What an amazing experience. Hubby and I went for our 4 year anniversary and choose to do the Chef Menu with wine pairing. We said we were vegetarian - but are moreso on the vegan/whole food plant based side of things. They accommodated so well and we left so satisfied. Our server, Sarah, was so great with service and with wine pairing. Our dinner was three hours and we had so much fun! Thank you, Mathew's (and Sarah) for making our anniversary unforgettable. Can't wait to go back.

::Fantastic food. Atmosphere wasn't super special but I rated this five stars because the food was just that good. I had the Kansas city strip steak and my wife had the papita crusted tile. They were both cooked and seasoned to perfection. The blue crab side was also quite special.

::This is one of the finest restaurants in Jacksonville. I make it a point to eat here whenever I am in town . Not stuffy, at least not for me and they are always receptive for a birthday or special occasion. The food is sublime with regular changes to the menu and if you order the souffle, which I recommend, be sure to give your waiter a heads-up and if by chance you are waiting on a table hit up the bar and try a Martini, some of the best I've ever sipped.

::Excellent food, service and pacing. Everybody was extremely satisfied and found something they wanted to explore on each course of the menu. One member of our party only had to mention he was vegan and they modified his meal accordingly. Very impressed with the changes made compared to the non-vegan version.

::Mathews restaurant goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best dining experience you have ever had. They were extremely successful in making my husband's promotion overly special. This restaurant will by far meet your expectations. It's a quiet dining experience and the food is nothing but perfection. Nathan, Pavel, and the manager were all generous and helpful and pastry Chef Rebecca was absolutely delightful. We will always make Mathews our celebratory and special occasions place to go when dining out! Thank you all so much for making us feel like family!
