::I made an appointment for a massage, gave my card number, and was told if I cancelled last minute I would be charged. At the very last minute, Masage Envy called me to cancel the massage because they said the massage therapist fainted while working. They had no back ups to take the appointment. Because I work and have I child, I cannot just get a massage at any time so I was very disappointed since I figured I would not be able to find another place so quickly. Fortunately, I was able to get a massage at Qitopia at Paramus Park mall where I had THE BEST MASSAGE I have ever received. I will definitely become a repeat customer at Qitopia - I highly recommend it to everyone, and will never try to make an appointment at massage envy again.

::This place is a JOKE. You pay monthly for massages and if you use them every month GREAT, but if not you get screwed over SO BADLY ITS SHAMEFUL. I moved away from my location over a year ago. Contractually, theyre obligated to let you cancel over the phone if you live +25 miles from your home spa. I sent google map views that I had actually moved about 35 miles from my home spa, and they WOULD NOT LET ME CANCEL. They kept taking the money from my account. Finally, I had to cancel my debit card, and have chase stop pay the business. At that time I had accrued +8 massages. AGAIN contractually once your account is cancelled you only have 60 days to use up all your unused sessions. They tell you that in that time you can gift them away so that your money isnt wasted. However, when I went to do that, I couldnt get any of the locations to agree what the rules are: Westwood, NJ said I could gift as many as I wanted, Closter, NJ said I could only gift one per month. I spent HOURS on the phone with this company trying to gain the service value I had PAID FOR, and they were difficult, disorganized, unprofessional CROOKS. This location wouldnt help. Wouldnt allow me to use my massages and made it SO DIFFICULT to get an appointment. Their massage therapists are below average. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY from this ENTIRE ORGANIZATION

::I had just started working at massage envy in westwood for a month... I really loved working there until I had got into a car accident and couldn't go to work.... i had just started working there so I knew calling out was bad but i thought the MANAGER would understand !! I had my mom call the front desk 3 hours before my shift , they said they will notify her ... I had thought everything would be fine.... however, she had fired me the next day through TEXT how unprofessional!!!! I called to explain my side, she said she will call back and she never did .... UNDER BADDDD MANAGEMENT!

::Cancellation Policy with No heart---Beware of the five hour window that you have to cancel your appointment they will charge you for a full massage even if you have a family emergency and have to leave town! Heartless. The Assistant manager was unsympathetic and disrespectful. When I asked for the managers name and number I was told she is a traveling manager and has no phone #. What great service to provide to your members especially when they are dealing with a family crisis. Shame
